Our Favorite Attractions

One of Wisconsin’s most popular attractions, Peninsula State Park is well known for its outstanding opportunities for camping, swimming, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Eagle Tower provides visitors with beautiful vistas of Eagle Harbor, Ephraim, and Horseshoe Island. It was recently rebuilt and is now ADA compliant to allow people of all ability levels to enjoy it. the tower is particularly special to us as it is where we got engaged in 2010. 

Located north of Sturgeon Bay, The Farm is not only an excellent petting zoo arranged in a farm setting, but it also features buildings and displays that tell the story of the area’s history. 

Located south of Jacksonport, this park offers trails along Lake Michigan that overlook rock formations and caves beneath the bluffs. The shallow blue water and interesting terrain offer a great backdrop for family pictures. 

This Door County favorite is a blast from the past!  Take along lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a double feature on the outdoor silver screen from under the stars. A great time for the entire family!

Northern Sky Theater is a genuine treasure! This remarkably talented troupe produces and performs original shows that capture the spirit of Door County and bring warmth to audiences. While their new indoor theater is a great place to see a show, there is no beating their outdoor theater nestled in the woods of Peninsula State Park. We highly recommend seeing a show—it will bring a smile to your face and a feeling of wholesome goodness to your soul. 

While many prefer Nicolet Beach in Peninsula State Park, which is heavy in amenities, or the beautiful but rocky beach in Sister Bay, our favorite place to play in the sand and float in the calm, shallow water is at Ephraim Beach. Located along Highway 42 at the tip of Eagle Harbor, the beach is open to the public and well-maintained by the village. Visitors Can enjoy the laid back atmosphere and beautiful views of Ephraim and Peninsula State Park. Parking is usually available in the adjacent lot.
